Thinkin about mothers and the older I get I'm like ... wait, what? My mom was a human like I am a human yet she managed to give her full self to care for FIVE completely independent human beings? And she somehow holds us together all these years later? Like she somehow manufactured a family dynamic that made us be 100% ourselves and 100% dependent on the love and community of our immediate family? And she kept her sense of self and remained silly and loving through all that? That's amazing. It's unreal. It's magical. I hope I can be as authentic and legit as this one!!!!
